What is the difference between Physical, Service Area and Online?

Physical shows your address, Service Area lists the regions you cover, Online keeps the address private.

Step 3 gives three cards and you must pick one.

Physical Address

“I have a storefront or office customers can visit.” Your address and map are shown publicly. Choose this for shops, restaurants, clinics and offices.

Service Area

“I travel to customers across several areas.” You then add each city or region under Service Areas. Choose this for plumbers, electricians, mobile hairdressers, caterers and delivery-only kitchens.

Online / Virtual

“I work online or remotely. My address stays private.” Choose this for freelancers, consultants, online tutors and anyone working from home who does not want their home address published.

All three still require a real address, entered from the suggestions, because that is what puts you into local search.
