Olomi’s Grill is a family-owned Afghan restaurant located at 11670 Jones Bridge Rd, Suite A, in Johns Creek, Georgia. Opened in 2020 by Sami Olomi and his wife, the restaurant was born out of a desire to share the comforting and flavorful dishes of their Afghan heritage with the community. From the moment guests walk in, they are welcomed by the aroma of spices and grilled meats, and a warm, inviting atmosphere that feels like home.
The menu focuses on traditional Afghan favorites, all prepared with care and authenticity. Popular dishes include kabuli pulao—a rice dish layered with tender meat, raisins, and carrots—alongside juicy chapli kebabs, beef kobideh, and lamb karahi. One of the most loved appetizers is the borani banjan, a rich eggplant dish topped with seasoned yogurt. Each plate is prepared fresh and served with generous portions, offering a true taste of Afghan hospitality.
