Pamir Afghan Cuisine, located in Owensboro, Kentucky, was founded by Afghan refugees who arrived in the U.S. in 2021. The name “Pamir” pays tribute to the Pamir Mountains of Afghanistan, symbolizing strength, resilience, and heritage. The restaurant is best known for its weekend buffet, which features a flavorful variety of Afghan dishes including kabuli pulao, eggplant, okra, mantu dumplings, and bolani.
