What data are available to researchers?

The Data Assets Inventory lists the data assets held by HDRN Canada Member Organizations. These can be requested through Data Services by completing an intake form.

How do researchers submit a data request?

Is it possible to access multi-regional data in one place?

Multi-regional data from pan-Canadian data holdings hosted at the Canadian Institute for Health Information and Statistics Canada can be accessed in one place through those two organizations. Regional data can be accessed via Data Services according to each Member Organization's policies for distributed data analyses.

Are there any fees for Data Services?

Data Services does not charge a fee to submit data requests through its portal. Fees are charged by HDRN Canada Member Organizations according to their individual cost recovery processes.

How does Data Services support funding applications?

Where are the data stored and who administers them?

The data are stored, processed and administered by HDRN Canada Member Organizations, which include data centres across Canada.
