What to choose at the address step
At Step 3, Location & Contact, you are given three cards. Pick the one that matches how you work:
- Physical Address — you have a storefront or office customers can visit.
- Service Area — you travel to customers across several areas.
- Online / Virtual — you work online or remotely, and your address stays private.
A freelancer working from home should choose Online / Virtual. Your street address is still asked for, because it is what places you in distance searches so people nearby can find you, but it is not shown on your public page.
If you travel to clients
Choose Service Area instead, then add each city or region you cover under Service Areas. You can add as many as you need.
Whichever you pick, you still have to enter a real address and choose it from the suggestions, or the form will not save.
