With over a decade of hands-on experience in immigration and community service, Waheed Jalalzada has become a trusted advocate within the Afghan community in Canada and abroad. A licensed immigration consultant and founder of Waheed Immigration Services, he has provided thousands of Afghans with free legal guidance, supported families through complex immigration cases, and worked to prevent fraud and exploitation in the immigration system.
Waheed’s professional journey reflects a blend of practical experience, academic excellence, and community commitment. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Policy Studies at Toronto Metropolitan University, specializing in immigration, settlement, and diaspora studies.
Before moving to Canada, Waheed dedicated over a decade to media, civic education, and youth empowerment in Afghanistan—leading projects that benefited hundreds of thousands and promoting access to information, democracy, and social inclusion. He has provided over 3,000 hours of free legal guidance, helped prevent immigration fraud, and authored From Dream to Reality, a Farsi-language guide for newcomers to Canada.
As the Founder and CEO of Baipar, Waheed combines his immigration expertise and community vision to empower Afghan entrepreneurs, strengthen cross-border collaboration, and build lasting pathways of economic and social inclusion across North America.
