Nur Market & Restaurant was founded by three Somali brothers who came to the United States in the 1990s. Their vision was to create a space that combined a community grocery store with the taste of home-cooked halal meals. The front of the store is filled with rows of spices, teas, grains, halal meats, and household essentials imported from around the world. In the back, a small restaurant kitchen serves warm, flavorful dishes like shawarma, lamb roast, falafel, and gyro wraps.
